1.         Your matchmaker results are in! Come to the quad to buy your matchmaker for only $1.00, February 1^st through the 5^th at lunch. Find out who your perfect match is to ask to the Sweetheart Dance. XOXO

2.         Sweetheart Dance is TONIGHT after the Homecoming basketball game. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 27^th in the Cardinal Nest. Presale tickets are $3 single/$5 couple. Guest passes and ID cards will be required at the door pick up your approved guest passes from Mrs. Glover. Get your ticket for the best dance of the year!

3.         Attention students if you are interested in helping serve lunch on Wednesday’s, please see Ms. Stout in the Cafeteria. Also, your lunch will be FREE!!

4.         Winter Ball Pictures may be picked up in H-3 AFTER school only. Pictures will only be given to the student whose name is on the packet.

5.         Attention Students & Faculty: DO NOT sit on cafeteria tables at any time.

6.         Are you ready for some DODGEBALL? All week we’ll have teams battling it out in the North Gym at lunch. Come cheer for your favorite team and see if they have what it takes to get to the top!

7.         Attention 10^th and 11^th Graders: GEAR UP has extended the deadline to turn in your Parent Surveys to this Friday. Get your individual class a Jamba Juice Party, any questions or new surveys come and talk to Mr. Lane or Mr. Henry in the library.

8.         Are you interested in mentoring? Would you like community service hours? If you can dedicate at least one hour a week to meeting with a mentee at a SERRF after-school site of your choice, please stop by the Career Center TODAY at lunch to hear more about the Tehama County Mentoring Program. We will also be accepting applications that have already been filled out.

9.         Varsity and JV softball practice will begin for non-winter sport athletes with completed clearance cards on Tuesday, February 9^th on the softball fields from 3:30 – 5:30.

10.       Picture packets for the Sweetheart Dance are available in the office. Just a reminder that ticket prices will go up at the door! Get your tickets ahead of time in the Cardinal Nest!

11.       Crab Feed (or Tri-Tip steak) - All you can eat – with clam chowder and bread - $30 cost Saturday, February 6^th 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Memorial Hall – Help support – CUHS Girls Basketball program. Call Kurt Eller @ 567-5100 to reserve tickets - ASAP

12.       Come watch Alumni Basketball Game Saturday, February 6^th. Girls 2 pm Boys 3:30 pm at CUHS.

13.       Otaku Desu:  There will be a Friday meeting from 3:30- 5:30 pm TODAY in the library. Anyone is welcome.  The topic will be “How to read, write, publish, and respond to art on the web.”

14.       Clearance Cards: Please turn in your Clearance Cards for Spring Sports ASAP and clear all fines. Clearance Cards will take four days to process, so make sure you turn in your Clearance Cards at least four days before practice starts. If you have a fine your Clearance Card will take even longer to process.

15.       Come take your picture with your friend or significant other for Valentine’s Day in the Cardinal Nest. Prices are $3.00 for portraits come sign up in the Cardinal Nest before Wednesday, February 10^th.

16.       Girls Basketball vs Anderson: Frosh lost, JV & Varsity won.

17.       Soccer @ Yreka: Girls won 5 – 1, Boys won 4 – 3.

a.         Please get your Cal Grant GPA Verification forms turned into the Counseling Office as soon as possible!

Faculty Section:
