California High School Exit Exam:

ALL 10^th Graders:  The required California High School Exit Exam will be given Tuesday March 16^th Wednesday, March 17^th in the C-Wing.   Please check with your English Instructor for testing station location and additional information. There will be no make-ups this year.  Please be on time, we must start the exam at 8:10. 

11^th and 12^th Graders who still need to pass the exit exam(s), you will be tested in the Library March 16^th (English) and March 17^th (Math). Check with your English or Math Instructor for additional information. Please be on time, we must start the exam at 8:10.

1.         All students interested in running for ASB, please pick up an application from the Copy Center. Applications are due March 17^th and you must have a t least a 3.0 GPA. There will be a meeting for all who sign up during G period this Wednesday. A green pass will be sent out.

2.         Do you like taking pictures? Do you have a keen eye for detail? Then Yearbook is perfect for you! We are now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 yearbook staff. Get your application in the Counseling Office and turn it in to your social science teacher or your counselor by April 1^st. It’s not just yearbook it’s history in the making!

3.         Breakfast ‘Did ya Knows” Did you know eating breakfast improves your strength and performance during physical activity?

4.         Interact members:  We will be having an Interact meeting during lunch TODAY. We will be discussing Camp Royal and signing up to bring candy and plastic eggs for the kindergarten Easter Egg hunt.

5.         Attention Prom Committee: Today’s meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow during lunch, to avoid conflict with the Interact meeting. Hope to see you all there.

6.         There’s going to be the first ever Spring Spirit week starting Monday, March 22^nd through the 26^th. There’s not much school spirit in the spring, so let’s change that.

7.         Girls Soccer players:  The awards ceremony will be Monday the 15^th at 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria. Dinner will be served. Your parents are invited. Bring your uniforms and any goal-a-thon money that has not been turned in.

8.         Girls Basketball Banquet for all levels Tuesday, March 16th at 6:30 in the cafeteria.

9.         On Wednesday, the Cardinals Tennis Team lost their non-league match with Sutter 6 to 3. Ryan Howell continued his unbeaten streak in the number one spot, winning his singles match 6-2, 6-3. Ryan then teamed up with Jake Schlereth for a come-from-behind win in doubles 9-7. Next match: Friday at home vs. Wheatland (3:00).

aa.       C-WING Exit Exam Proctors: Please contact your March 16 and March 17 subs now  with lesson plans and roll sheets.  Also communicate with your 9, 11, & 12 grade students as to their schedule for these dates.  You will check out your testing materials at 7:30 am from Mrs. Ramay March 16^th in room C-10.
