Classroom Rules

My rules are straightforward and govern any academic interaction:

1. Work Hard
2. Be Nice

Tardy Policy

1. Admit or pass required
2. First Tardy(Per Semester): Free
3. Second Tardy: ISP
4. Third Tardy: Parent Notified and possible reduction in grade.

Leaving the Classroom (Bathroom, Drink, etc.)

Unless accompanied by a pass or leaving for a school event, leaving the classroom will result in an ISP. Leaving without permission will result in a referral to the Vice Principal.

ISP

An ISP must be served the day awarded. Failure to serve will result in two ISP's. Further failure to serve will result in a referral to the vice principal.

Parent Contact

If behavior is excessive, chronic or deemed necessary by the teacher the parents will be notified.

Grading Policy

1. Pre - Algebra
   • A - 90%, B - 80%, C - 70%, D - 60%, F - Less than 60%
     • 40% Tests
     • 60% Classwork, Homework, Quizzes, Projects
2. Algebra I
   • A - 90%, B - 80%, C - 70%, D - 60%, F - Less than 60%
     • 50% Tests
     • 15% Quizzes
     • 25% Homework.
     • 10% Special projects, in class activities, participation

If your earned percentage is at least 65%, your final grade may be adjusted based on performance on standardized state testing.
