- Corning Union High School is one of three public high schools in the county.
- CUHS was established in 1897.
- The original buildings were replaced in 1960.
- In 1999-2000, five permanent structure wings were modernized to accommodate increased enrollment.
- Construction was completed in 2001 on a 10-classroom building, gymnasium, cafeteria, multipurpose room, Library Media Center with adjoining Career Center and music complex.
- Fall 2017 - Upgraded Stadium and added all weather track (Dedicated at Gary Burton Invitational May of 2018)
- Fall 2019 - Replaced the J-Wing - 7 classrooms
- Fall 2020 - Added I-Wing and Restrooms - 3 classrooms
- Fall 2022 - Replaced H and I Wing - 11 classrooms
- Fall 2023 - Completed new quad in front of H and I wings.
